Looking forward to lots of specs Greg.  "Very good bias stability" sounds appealing at the moment  Wink

Hi Dan,

I understand.

I am fine tuning the sims at the moment with different devices/models hoping to achieve similar specs to the GB150D.

Apart from the power output how is this going to compare to the GB150?

Hi StuH,

I'm trying to achieve similar sim results to the GB150D.

At present I have -

Frequency Response:  3.5Hz - 2.5MHz. ( no input filter)
THD: < 0.004 % at 50Wrms 8ohm load 1KHz @ 100mA bias (2nd/3rd equal)

PSRR  108 dB decreasing to 92 dB at 20K.

Maybe too many bits in the way - I'll take some out and try again.

Hi Greg,

When do you think the GB 100 will be available?

Hi Greg,

So to clarify, this is a smaller 100w version of he GB150d?

Will it have the same or similar sound as the 150d?

Is it capacitor coupled, ie; input and feedback caps to reduce DC offset?

What raw dc supply voltage would it need to produce the max 100w into 8ohm load?

Not really. It is capable of similar power but would need +/-5V higher supplies. If substituted on an existing GB150D build, the gain is the same but power would be approx 30W less. It makes for a good comparison as it is physically compatible and the same gain.

Unknown. Inasmuch as the specs I am aiming for are very similar and it is very similar in having a complementary LTP input and vertical MOSFET output.

Yes, as for the GB150D provision is made for both.

I would use a +/-50V supply.
