I don't get to see enough live shows, but tonight I saw a true master back on the road again. David Bromberg, with his (mostly) acoustic quartet, opened and supported by wife Nancy's Angel Band. There was a lot of traditional American music thrown in, but the blues picking was really great to hear. The ladies harmonizing was magic, and when they were all on stage, it was really special. Those of you in the States should catch them if you can!

I second the recommendation to catch him live.  Any of David's many recordings also has value, but I find his 2007 release "Try Me One More Time" in my player fairly often.

I just got "Try Me One More Time" today! DB has a very natural feel for classic blues picking. I can't believe he's over 70!!
